Midland Christmas 2007

We had our family Christmas in Midland before we traveled to Arkansas. The boys were a blast to watch open their presents this year! They got very into the whole process. We began by letting them unwrap the pieces of their nativity scene as Cameron shared the story of Jesus' birth. We had the boys sit on the couch to open their presents. After opening, we let them play with the toys for a bit. Then we would ask them if they wanted to open more presents; the boys would give a resounding YES, and then climb onto the couch for the next round. We gave the boys a number of ABC items: a puzzle, blocks, magnets, and bath toys. The boys are getting into learning the alphabet. The biggest hits were the Thomas the trains and a Motor Works set from Discovery toys (it has 3 vehicles that you can screw together with a plastic drill). Here are a few pics from our day:
