Beach 2011 - Gulf Shores

It was a long journey to the beach but it was worth it! We had a blast getting to play as a family away from work and the craziness of the past few months. Here are some pics from the trip: Silas LOVED the beach! He loved the sand, waves, and ,pool! It was amazing to us since he was just 7 months old. But seeing as he is 7 months going on 2 I guess it makes sense! This baby of ours is taking off! In the past 3 weeks he has gotten his first tooth, started crawling, starting eating solid food, went to the beach for the first time, now crawls all over the house, is trying to pull up, and is now getting his 2nd tooth! This boy has somewhere to go! He is very busy and a joy to watch...or now run after!

Daddy & the big boys had fun riding the waves:

Mas was proud of his minnow (look closely in the bucket):

Silas LOVED the pool! He wanted out of his float and to swim around with C & M:

Silas loved crawling around and playing with the sand. It was no use trying to keep him on the blanket. He would just crawl right off and go wherever he pleased. He also tasted the sand quite a few times! He was always covered in sand so we did a lot of bathing!

People went nuts over Silas in this preicous bee swimsuit! Thanks Jenny! It was pretty stinkin cute!

Silas loved splashing in the waves! He couldn't get enough. When we held him, he swirmmed until we put him down so he could play by himself.

On the way to the beach we stayed with my Aunt Carole, Uncle Chip and their daughters Bekah & Hannah (we missed you Rachel!). Thanks Ryes for hosting us! It was so fun catching up with y'all! Mas & Bekah- 2nd cousins:
