We went on our first camping trip on the 11th and 12th of May. We had heard Abilene had a nice state park and also that their zoo was something fun for the boys. The boys had an absolute blast! They got to feed the giraffes and chase the guinea fowl all over the zoo. There were some onlookers who cracked up and snapped multiple pictures of the boys running down the guinea fowl. Mason kept sprinting by saying "come back here chicken!" They both slept great in the tent for their first time. There were deer in the campground and Mason was obsessed with finding sticks and going "hunting" for deer. What great memories!
