Doc and Nonnie Visit Midland.

The boy's grandparents came to town in August for a weekend visit. We always get excited when we get to host some of our family members out here in west Texas. It always seems to rain when my parents come into town and this year was no different. It felt good in the evenings to stroll around outside and the boys sure loved riding their bikes in the runoff.

The highlight of the visit was a Saturday morning trip to Monahans to play in the sand dunes. This was the first time we have gone as a family out to the state park since we moved out here. We had heard about it but didn't really know what to expect. Well, it was a really good time, the boys especially loved running around the dunes and sliding down with their grandparents. It was actually a pretty picturesque place with some unique vistas that are quite striking. All in all it was really fun. Thanks for coming to visit, come back soon!
