A few weeks ago I got the chance to spend a weekend with my college friends near Harrison, Arkansas. So the boys and I loaded up and caravaned with my mom and grandma from Midland to AR. In order to help my grandma get through DFW we detoured and made a 13.5 hour trip to Northwest Arkansas! Carter and Mason did a great job with all of the traveling! I'm grateful to my parents who kept the boys for a couple of days while I got away with my friends. It's always fun to catch up with my college friends. We just relaxed by a pool on top of a mountain for 2 days. My friends Emily and Jayme were troopers to come as they were 7 months pregnant. And my friend Haley brought her sweet 7-week old baby, Haven! Thanks to Erika for planning it for us!
I also had the chance to spend a few hours with Cam's sisters Rachael and Amber, and Amber's husband Chris (or Uncle "Ris" as the boys call him). We cruised around the UofA campus seeing many new buildings, dorms, and sports stuff. It was the first time I have been to Fayetteville with the boys. I made a point to go and take a picture with the boys on a Razorback statue that I have pictures of with my parents when I was less than 1 year old. So fun! Cameron and I look forward to getting back to Fayetteville for a game soon.
Thanks also to my sweet dad who drove the boys and I home and then flew back to AR. We made much better time on the way home...11.5 hours! :) It was well worth the effort! Until next time!
