Uncle Chris & Aunt Amber visit

This summer marked an important stage of life for my sister Amber and her husband Chris. Chris works for T-Fal (the pots and pans) as a sales manager on the west coast. They have lived in Portland for the last couple of years after a previous couple year stint in New Jersey. This summer, Chris was relocated to Bentonville, AR (his home town) to work on the Wal-Mart account. Chris and Amber jumped at the chance to move back to their home state. They decided to do a farewell tour of sorts and take their time driving back east. They were thoughtful enough to include our home in Midland as one of their stops.

We had a great couple days visiting with them as Christin and I really enjoy showing our family around our Midland community. Neither Chris nor Amber have had the opportunity to visit Midland yet so there was lots to see. We ate Mexican food, played with the boys, and grilled out with some of our close friends. Chris and Amber had a tag along with them in their cross country journey - their golden retriever Samson. Our dogs had a blast frolicking in the backyard with their new friend.
