Dall Sheep:
While in Anchorage, we made a trip to the Alaska Zoo! It is a small but beautiful zoo with many cool animals native to the area. The zoo is located at the at the foothills of the mountains, giving it a very hilly terrain. We saw animals such as dall sheep; polar, brown and black bears; a moose; an elephant (not native!); snow leopards; bald eagles; snowy owls; musk oxen; an artic fox; and reindeer. The boys had a blast checking out all of the animals, especially the birds.
